Creativity is the currency, is the vibe, is the way forward and we want to inspire and support the next generations of artists, performers, programmers and curators through our Youth Takeover project. So we are giving over a whole stage to young acts who will wow you all day!

11:30 – 12:00 James Dixon Primary School steel pan orchestra

12:15 – 13:15 Singer songwriter showcase

Following in the footsteps of some of the UK’s biggest industry successes, the BRIT School Music students perform their own original music. Expect acoustic and intimate performances from the next generation of singer songwriters.

13:30 – 14:30 Pull Up workshop

Games, exercises and improvisations from BLINK’s rehearsal room, working with with music created by Delson Weekes for the production Pull Up. This interactive session is open to all ages (families welcome) and designed for participants with and without learning disabilities who’d like to find out more about BLINK’s unique approach to inclusive devising.

15:00 – 15:45 Grooveschool

Grooveschool are based in Brixton and run DJ and Music Technology sessions throughout the week, for all ages and abilities. Term-time after school and at weekends and of course summer holidays. The Grooveschool DJs are looking forward to returning and playing their fresh sounds at the festival.

15:30 – 16:00 Aphra

A 17 year-old Brixton-born singer/songwriter. Influenced by jazz and soul, Aphra has developed an effortless and distinctive musical style.

16:25 – 16:00 Aretra

Bringing to you electronic/deep house music.

17:15 – 17:45 Lola Young

A soulful singer-songwriter, blending acoustic folk with lyrical R&B.

18:00 – 18:30 Team Money

Hip-hop / R&B artists with a detailed view and commentary on their environment.

19:00 – 19:45 Roscoe Roscoe

Energetic and relaxed psychedelic rock anthems.
