PULL UP: Where gritty reality collides with mystic euphoria.

Delson Weekes is a West London born artist who’s proud of his Jamaican roots. He is an emerging musician and his eclectic inspiration ranges from Dancehall to Chopin. Outside the recording studio Delson is a performance maker and co-director of BLINK Dance Theatre.

Project PULL UP was conceived and realised by Delson in two phases.

PHASE 1: Delson created an 11 track concept album with mentoring from sound artist Bulblet.

PHASE 2: Delson directed BLINK performers in an original response to his music. This performance is commissioned and supported by Unlimited, celebrating the work of disabled artists, with funding from Spirit of 2012.
