Create your own dance, rap and write lyrics

Join Grounded Movement for these fun workshops in Street and Hip Hop dance, explore some writing for rapping and even create your own short dance piece!

This will be an exciting taster of what is to come in 2022 for young people with further training and opportunities planned at the shop to create their own dance choreography, writing lyrics and even perform with professional artists for those wanting to take that extra step.

Learn paste up and stencil cutting techniques and take away your own art

Carleen from WOM Collective will be teaching some great techniques that artists like Banksy use such as:

• the paste-up allows an artist the freedom and time to create art on paper cut it out, take it to the streets and paste it up.
• stencil cutting is a great way to produce single or multiple layered artworks that you can then take outside and reproduce.

All materials will be provided and the workshops are completely FREE!

10:30 – 13:30 Create your own dance and rap choreography with Grounded Movement

14:30 – 17:30 Stage a mini-dance and rap production with Grounded Movement
