Ese and the Vooduu People

14:30 — 15:10

Incendiary rock n roll – that’s what Ese and the Vooduu People are all about!

Graduating from London’s most demanding performing arts school, the streets, as a busker, singer-songwriter Ese Okorodudu (vocals, guitar) is backed by the Vooduu People, ex-Noisette Pharoah Russell (drums) and Basile Petite (bass).

Born and raised in South London, Ese has seen it all, done most of it, and is no stage school product but the real thing.  A fiery, sensitive, poetic songwriter, she is also what the legendary hip hop engineer/producer/beatmaster Jay Burnett describes as “the best natural singer I’ve heard in 30 years”.
