The Bookseller Crow presents author Diana Evans in conversation with Karen McLeod
The Orange Award prize-winner Diana Evans will be in conversation with fellow novelist Karen McLeod about using Crystal Palace as an inspiration for fiction writing. Diana’s new novel Ordinary People is partly set in SE19 against the backdrop of Barack Obama’s historic election victory. It’s a brilliant study of sex and grief, friendship and ageing, and the fragile architecture of love.
Diana Evans is the Orange Award prize-winning author of 26a.
Karen McLeod is the prize-winning author of In Search of the Missing Eyelash set in Penge and Crystal Palace. She is both the writer and performer of the popular comedy poet character Barbara Brownskirt and is also writer-in-residence at the Bookseller Crow.
