About Us

The Festival is brought to you by The Great North Wood Collective, a registered charity.

We want to bring people together through high quality arts, heritage and cultural events in and around the Crystal Palace.

We want to make sure that arts, heritage and culture are accessible to all and improve and enhance the life of our community through involvement in such activities.

We do all of this by:

  • Producing an annual festival that is accessible for thousands of people and brings our diverse community together to celebrate

  • Inviting local people to participate in fun creative projects to help support their well-being

  • Bringing great culture to places and people who may not access it very often

  • Inviting our whole community to get involved.

We are recruiting trustees!

If you would like to get involved with the strategic direction and governance of our charity then please do consider a trusteeship and we are currently recruiting for two trustees with senior expertise in marketing and charity finance.

You can find the job descriptions for both roles below:

Treasurer Trustee – job description

Marketing Trustee – job description

Please contact Graham, our chair, at chair@crystalpalacefestival.org if you would an informal chat about either role. If you would like to apply please send your CV and a covering email outlining what you feel you could bring to the role to Graham.

For The Community

We want to ensure all can enjoy the benefits of creativity and the arts. So we create projects to bring the Festival out into our community to people and places it may not usually reach.
